BP Logix (eform.uwec.edu) Is Down

macOS is unable to print to HP printers

This is an unplanned outage.

A problem has been identified which causes macOS computers to produce errors when sending print jobs to HP printers. This is due to a problem with the macOS security framework incorrectly identifying HP printer drivers as malware. This may trigger an error message identifying the software as a security risk, not allow the print job to leave the printer queue, and/or simply result in the print job not actually printing. We're currently waiting on a solution from Apple. In the meantime, printing is still available to all FollowMe printers and department copiers. Resolution: Apple and HP has resolved the problem and updated security information is currently being distributed directly from Apple. If you continue to have problems, please contact the LTS Help Desk at 715-836-4091.

Unable to sign into Office 365 services like email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc

Microsoft is experiencing problems with their authentication system. UWEC users may be unable to sign into email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc..

Resolution: Office 365 authentication services are working as of 7:30p tonight.

Students H and W drives unavailable

This is an unplanned outage.

Student H (Home Drives) and W (DEPTDIR) drives are unavailable at this time. This outage was unplanned and LTS staff are working to restore service.

Resolution: Service was restored at 2:30p today. All student H and W drives are available now.

FollowMe Printing Service Interuption for Mac Users

LTS is aware of an issue that may be preventing Mac OS users from using FollowMe print services and are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Other operating systems and devices do not appear to be impacted. Students and employees impacted by this issue can still print using a smart phone, other Windows computers in labs, or by connecting to the Virtual Lab. Resolution: Additional services were turned on for wireless networking to help prevent unwanted advertisement of a variety of items on the wireless network.

eForms Server Experiencing Problems

Issues Attaching Documents to Eforms

We are aware of a problem with not being able to attach documents to eforms (eform.uwec.edu) and are working on it with the vendor.

Resolution: Issue has been resolved. So many people are now using eforms, the server ran out of hard disk space. Space has been increased so everything is now working.

Chrome Web Browser Update Notice

On Monday, February 24th, an update to the web browser Chrome will be applied to UWEC-owned devices. In this update, the browser Chrome will reflect improved privacy and security for web users. There is a potential for this update to cause some disruptions. For instance, publisher integrations in Canvas for McGraw Hill, Wiley, etc. may experience errors or loading issues. Fortunately, many applications have already implemented updates in preparation for this change. We are not asking or recommending that campus community members use a different browser; this update will also be applied to Firefox and other browsers in the near future. Personal devices either already have this update or will be updated soon. If you have any questions on how to do that, please contact the LTS Help Desk. Perceptive Content (ImageNow) is temporarily unavailable for unplanned, emergency maintenance. This outage is required to restore Perceptive Content to full functionality and prevent data loss. We will send another notification as soon as service is restored.

Resolution: Perceptive Content service has been restored. You may login and resume using the software like normal.
