BOSE Cluster - SLURM not functioning with default MySQL DB/Logging engine

The BOSE Cluster is currently configured to use a work around solution temporarily until the issue with MySQL terminating is resolved. Job requests may not function as expected.

Resolution: LTS Outage Notification: High Performance Computing - BOSE Cluster The BOSE Cluster is currently back up and running. Should you experience any further issues with the BOSE Cluster, please report them to BGSC.ADMINS@uwec.edu.

Jamf Pro Server Outage (Including Self Service on macOS_

The Jamf Pro server, which is used to manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices, was taken offline for an emergency security update at 3pm on Friday, December 17th, 2021. Use of the Self Service application to install software and run various macOS actions will be offline till the update is complete.

Canvas Outage

Some users attempting to access Canvas are receiving 504 gate way errors. This is related to an ongoing AWS outage. Further updates can be found at https://status.instructure.com/.

Resolution: Amazon Web Services (AWS), which supports and runs Canvas servers, is now operational. Thus, Canvas is working as normal.

eForm Attachments Missing

SCCM Outage (Computer Imaging and Software Center)

Microsoft is troubleshooting an update that failed earlier this semester and there may be interruption to both computer imaging and Software Center 11/30/2021 and 12/1/2021. Users that have a critical need to have an item installed from Software Center should contact the LTS help desk and put a ticket in with the installation request.

Account Lockouts

This morning, a denial of service attack left hundreds of UWEC users with locked accounts and no ability to sign in. Those users affected were able to sign in by 8:15a.

Microsoft SCCM Computer Imaging Down

A SCCM update was ran Friday after hours. The update failed to fully install and has caused some issues in SCCM. We have put a support ticket in to Microsoft to fix the issue. Until they respond SCCM imaging will be down. Software Center appears to be able to install applications correctly

Centennial Second Floor Lighting

This is an unplanned outage.

Centennial second floor lighting controls were blown out after the power outage on Thursday June 3rd. At this time there is no way to turn the lights on or off from the current condition. We are working with Lutron to troubleshoot the problem. There is no timeline for the issue to be resolved.
